Try 5 Program: With this program, you can select up to 5 frames and have them sent to you to try on for 5 days. This program is absolutely free. We even pay for shipping.

Just a prescription. Please do not forget to ask your doctor for your PD measurements. If you don’t have that available, Please give us a call at 1-877-282-7247 or email us at prescriptions@benjifrank.com and provide us your doctor’s contact information and we can contact them on your behalf to get your PD. You can also contact your doctor to get your PD measurements as well.

Of course you can. For strong prescriptions, we offer our ultra-thin 1.67 high index lenses for just $30 more. Or if you would prefer these lenses for your frames, even if your prescription doesn’t require it, we can do that too. But you’ll also have an addition $30 charge for these lenses.

We start processing your order as soon as we receive it, make sure you write down your order number and contact us as soon as possible to send us your prescription. We totally understand you wanting your new glasses as soon as possible. That’s why our goal is to get your glasses in your hands in less than 10 days after you’ve placed your order. But sometimes there are factors outside our control that may delay your order such as waiting on clarification or the verification of your prescription. This isn’t a common problem, but it happens.

For our Try 5 program, you should get your 5 frames within 5 business days after you’ve ordered them.

If you’ve ordered sunglasses or our frames without a prescription, you should also get them within 5 business days.

How we ship your order depends on where you live:

Contiguous United States
If you live in the 48 contiguous states, we'll ship your glasses via FedEx. Your order typically takes 3-5 business days to arrive at your home.

Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico
For orders outside the 48 contiguous states, we’ll ship your glasses with FedEx.

Canada
For orders to the Great White North, we ship exclusively with FedEx, which typically takes 5-7 business days.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, we’ll do anything we can to get your order perfect. However, our goal is to process your order as fast as possible. So the minute you change your mind, call us immediately at 1-877-282-7247. If we’re unable to alter or cancel your order, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label, which you can then use to return your glasses once they arrive.

Absolutely. Just call us at 1-877-282-7247, Monday through Friday between 9am-6pm CT. Please have your prescription ready with your PD measurements to make your order process goes smoothly.

It depends. If you don’t have your prescription and want us to get it from your doctor, then we can do that. Just select your frame and during your checkout, select “I don’t have my prescription” and “Call my doctor to obtain my prescription option.” We’ll contact your doctor to get your prescription.

If you just want our cool frames, be sure to tell us by selecting “Non prescription glasses” and choose “I will be wearing these glasses for fashion.”

We wish we could say there is no maximum. Regrettably, we can’t fill prescription that have an SPH values stronger than -10.00 or +6.00 or CYL values stronger than ±4.00.

Almost! But when you need a strong prescription, we’ll need to use the ultra-thin, lightweight high index lenses for only additional $30. And if your prescription needs to be super strong (see maximum prescription), we may not even be able to fill your prescription.

The pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centers of your pupils and it's expressed in millimeters. This measurement is used to align the optical center of your lenses. You really shouldn’t measure it yourself because if you’re off, you can cause yourself unnecessary eyestrain. Ask your optometrist or ophthalmologist for your PD. Even if it’s not on your prescription, it may still be on file. If you have trouble obtaining your PD, please contact us.

It depends. If your prescription contains a combined SPH and CLY value of ±4 or stronger, we’ll automatically upgrade your lenses to our ultra-thin 1.67 high index lenses. It costs an extra $30 but it’s a whole lot less than the $100 or more that optical stores charge. If your prescription has an SPH value stronger than -10.00 or +6.00 and CYL value stronger than ±4.00, unfortunately, we won’t be able to fill it.

It means you’re lucky. “SPH” stands for sphere. “DS” means diopter sphere. When you have either of these abbreviations in your cylinder (CYL) column, it means you don’t have a cylinder value and therefore no astigmatism. Congratulations!

Developed, tested and manufactured by Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, theses lenses offer outstanding optic quality, performance and protection for your eyes. Almost makes you want to get contacts, doesn't it?

Sorry but the prescription for your contacts is very different from that of your eyeglasses. Although the measurements can be converted, we will still need information that contact lenses don’t require like your PD. Your best bet is to call your optometrist or ophthalmologist, and ask for your eyeglass prescription. They may already have the information in your file.

Virtual Try-On is our Web-based tool, which allows you to try out our glasses before making a purchase

It's easy. First find the frames you like best. On our product detail pages, you’ll find our “Virtual Try On” option. Click on this and upload your picture or take a new one through your webcam. Then Virtual Try-On will merge the two and you’ll be able to get an idea of what you might look like with your chosen frames.

Nope. The pictures you upload are only available for as long as you’re on our website. Once you leave, the photos are trashed. If you’d like to delete your photo while you’re still on our website, put your mouse over the picture and click the folder icon on the bottom. Then, select the “X” to delete your photo.

Absolutely, we think it'd be fun to do that too. You can upload your photo to your Facebook account through our Virtual Try-On program.

Ah, the amazing Try 5 program! It’s our way of letting you experience our cool frames from the comfort of your home. Choose up to 5 frames and we’ll send them to you. After 5 days, send them back to us in a pre-paid shipping box. You’ll love how convenient it is.

It’s super simple. Just select your top 5 frames by clicking on the “Add to Try 5” on the detail page of each product. Then, check out by fill out all the requested information. The 5 frames you selected will be on their way to your house as soon as humanly possible. Then, you can keep them for 5 days and try them out at no cost to you. After your 5-day free trial, place the frames back into the box they came in, place them in the white shipping box, apply the return shipping label and either schedule a home pick up or drop off at your nearest FedEx location. Now wasn't that quick and easy?

The Try 5 is totally free. However for security reasons, we request your credit card information and put a temporary hold for $1.00 on your credit card. When we get the 5 frames back, we'll remove the $1.00 credit hold. If you decide to keep the 5 frames after 5 days, we'll charge your card the full price of the frames minus the lenses (which is $90 per frame).

Your five day Try 5 program starts from the day you receive your package.

Not yet. While we look forward to expanding internationally, we do not offer Try 5 program internationally at this time.

Almost! As of now, we only offer frames for optical eyeglasses in our Try 5 Program. So our sunglasses are unavailable. Also note that due to the high demand and a product going out of stock, we might also be forced to restrict a pair from the Try 5 program at a later date.

We’d prefer if you didn’t. After all, wouldn’t you rather have your own brand new pair with your prescription lenses in them? Ordering your own pair is super easy and we promise, they will look and fit just like the ones in the Try 5 program.

Unfortunately, that would be a whole lot of inventory too! Our frames have been designed to perfectly fit certain faces so they come in specific sizes. We recommend you use the sizes of our frames to get you an idea of which frames might best suit you. Or if you can't find what you're looking for, give us a call and we'll be happy to see what we can do to help you out.

We want you to be happy with your frames. So if they’re not sitting on your face right, you should have them professionally adjusted. Many optical shops will make minor adjustments at no charge or for a small fee. If they charge you a fee, let us know and we’ll be happy to reimburse you. Just email your receipt to help@benjifrank.com and we’ll refund your charge to your credit card that’s on file. However please be Careful Sometimes, optical shops will apply heat to your frames to make them more pliable. While heating your acetate frames by rolling them over small glass beads will harm them, be sure to tell the optical shop not to heat your lenses. Direct heat applied to your lenses may cause them to bubble or crack.

All our lenses come with an invisible scratch resistant and anti-refection coating as well as 100% protection from UV rays. All standard. And all at no charge.

Our AR coating reduces the brightness of light reflecting from a surface through the lenses of your glasses. By reducing reflections, it improves the contrast of the image you are looking at by eliminating stray light. It also reduces unnecessary eyestrain.

Currently we do not offer Photochromic lenses. All our lenses come with the same scratch resistant and anti-reflective coating.

Most likely. Depending on your prescription, you will typically get our shatter-resistant polycarbonate lenses with your glasses. However, if your prescription has combined value of SPH and CYL of ±4, we’ll automatically upgrade you to our ultra-thin 1.67 High Index lenses, which only cost $30 more (although optical stores usually charge $100 or more).

We offer Free FedEx shipping to any address in the 48 contiguous US States. Shipping is also free for Canada, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii, however we use USPS to mail all packages.

We accept returns for any order. Unfortunately, we are not able to pay for return shipping on international orders. We will gladly accept any return within the 30 day return window and process a full refund.

As soon as we receive your return, we process it immediately. Then, it typically takes 5-7 business days from the time we’ve processed your return for your account to be credited.
